Mid-Level Observability Engineer – End-User Experience (Aternity)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Level Observability Engineer with hands-on experience in Riverbed Aternity to support enterprise observability initiatives focused on end-user and digital experience monitoring. This role is operational and technical, responsible for deploying, configuring, and optimizing Aternity solutions to enhance user experience, reduce MTTR, and support IT Operations and Service Desk teams with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage Aternity agents across endpoints, VDI, and DaaS environments (including Azure Virtual Desktop).
• Design and maintain dashboards, alerts, and thresholds aligned with business and operational needs.
• Perform signal tuning and alert optimization to minimize noise and false positives.
• Support and maintain integrations between Aternity and ServiceNow (incident enrichment, alert workflows).
• Analyze end-user experience data and provide actionable insights to IT Operations and Service Desk teams.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues impacting user experience.
• Document operational procedures, dashboards, and alerting standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in IT Operations, Monitoring, or Observability.
• Hands-on experience with Riverbed Aternity.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 environments.
• Experience with VDI and DaaS platforms (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop).
• Experience integrating monitoring/observability tools with ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to enterprise observability tools and frameworks.
• Experience working in large-scale or global IT environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
