OHS Agent

A dynamic Construction environment is looking for an experienced OHS Agent to take ownership of health and safety across multiple civil and building projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives on ensuring compliance, mitigating risks and maintaining the highest safety standards on-site. Qualifications

• National Diploma in Safety Management
• SACPCMP registration (non-negotiable)
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction health & safety
• Proven experience across civil and multidisciplinary projects (roads, buildings, municipal works)
• Strong knowledge of design and construction safety requirements
• Ability to identify, assess, and manage risks effectively
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor health & safety compliance across design and construction phases
• Conduct monthly site audits and continuous safety monitoring
• Identify and mitigate risks across multiple projects
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and standards
• Work closely with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to enforce safety protocols
• Compile and maintain safety reports and documentation
• Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites
