Detailed Description

In the context of the business, projects are varied and range from feature development to migrating an RTOS to another.

Profile Definition: SOFTWARE DESIGNER / DEVELOPER

SOFTWARE DESIGNER / DEVELOPER

At the request of the Business Unit, he/she analyzes, configures, and codes application software components in compliance with desired evolutions, standards, and procedures.

Activities and Tasks

ANALYSIS

• Contributes to the definition of general specifications
• Carries out technical analysis and detailed study
• Adapts and configures application software packages (ERP)
• Carries out prototyping

QUALIFICATION

• Develops test suites for unit integration tests
• Performs unit tests
• Identifies and resolves malfunctions

DEVELOPMENT

• Develops modules (objects and software components)
• Assembles components
• Writes documentation

MAINTENANCE

• Is responsible for corrective maintenance
• Is responsible for evolutionary maintenance
• Administers reusable software components and updates the nomenclature of these components
