The On‑Site Recruiter Specialist contributes to System One's success and the individual unit's financial success by:
What You’ll Do
- Sourcing and recruiting production and manufacturing candidates
- Evaluating and reviewing potential candidates utilizing cold calls, job boards, social networking and internal database etc.
- Interviewing prospective candidates via phone/in person to assess skill set, work history, and salary requirements
- Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified talent to submit to current and future client base
- Reaching hiring agreements and negotiating bill and pay rates within established pricing ranges, under the direct supervision of management
- Ensuring all talent placed has met pre‑hire requirements (references, background checks, etc.) personally or via designated staff
- Ensuring the talent placed exceeds client expectations and placements are made within established time frames
- Building strong long‑term client relationships by providing quality‑driven placement services
- Generating leads and market intelligence to enhance new client development efforts. Maintain relationships with candidates to gain industry knowledge and obtain referral and new business opportunities
- Meeting and exceeding weekly business development goals
- Arrange candidate interviews with the client as applicable
- Evaluate and maintain quality of candidate submittals through oversight
- Coordinate submittals to HR/Hiring Managers
- Responsible for coordination of hiring for all openings within client across all divisions
- Business development with hiring managers
- Relationship Management
- Handle quality control/customer service issues
- Conduct regular end‑user visits
- Maintain and update temporary employee personnel records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions, providing employees with essential company information, policies and required onboarding materials
- Provide timecard support, including troubleshooting employee issues, ensuring accurate entries, and maintaining compliance with payroll deadlines
- Conduct regular check‑in meetings with managers to review staffing needs, employee performance trends, and workforce planning updates
- Handle employee grievances by providing timely support, documenting concerns, and partnering with necessary personnel to ensure fair and consistent resolution
- Lead conversations with employees regarding poor performance, ensuring discussions are documented, constructive, and aligned with company policies and performance improvement processes
- Ensure prompt responses (same day) to client requests (ie reports, billing inquiries, etc.)
- Review and deliver management reporting
Qualifications
- Prior experience recruiting in a production or manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in HR, a science field, or other relevant major
- Ability to meet established recruiting metrics and performance requirements
- Ability to foster communications with candidates and clients
- Must have a strong desire to build a career in recruiting, use proven negotiating and closing skills, and build candidate relationships
- Ability to multi‑task and persevere in a fast‑paced dynamic environment with a sense of urgency
- Effective client service abilities, strong organizational and follow‑up skills
- Demonstrated comfort in a sales‑driven environment
- Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and organizational skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
