Role Overview
Onboarding & People Program Manager – Own, animate, and continuously design the end‑to‑end onboarding experience at Pigment as well as internal learning programs. The role sits at the intersection of program management, learning design, and employee experience, supporting the People Experience Lead and shaping internal talent development, including French regulatory training obligations.
Responsibilities
Own Pigment's onboarding program (POP)
- Run and animate the end‑to‑end onboarding experience for all new hires globally.
- Ensure every new joiner quickly understands our product, culture, and how to be effective.
- Build, maintain, and iterate a clear onboarding journey across the first week, month, and 90 days.
Create an exceptional new‑hire experience
- Deliver a warm, thoughtful, and structured onboarding experience without overwhelming new hires.
- Facilitate onboarding sessions, welcome presentations, and orientation programs.
- Continuously gather feedback and iterate the experience.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure content is meaningful and relevant.
Run baseline learning programs & drive engagement
- Own and animate the company‑wide L&D calendar—including recurring programs, speaker series, and learning events.
- Drive learner participation and track completion rates across baseline programs.
- Ensure all Pigmenaut‑led onboarding sessions are organized, facilitated, and that all content is updated.
- Experiment with AI‑driven learning and automation to scale internal training.
- Develop targeted programs that support ongoing growth across teams.
- Analyze internal learning data, monitor trends, and build reporting dashboards.
Own French regulatory training obligations
- Manage Pigment's Plan de développement des compétences; design, document, and submit in line with legal deadlines.
- Handle OPCO declarations and actively recover training budget on behalf of the company.
- Promote the use of CPF (Compte Personnel de Formation); communicate obligations to employees and track usage.
- Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure compliance and accurate budget reporting.
- Stay current on evolutions in French labour law affecting training obligations.
Build the internal knowledge and enablement system
- Create and maintain onboarding materials, documentation, guides, and playbooks.
- Keep onboarding content continuously updated as the company evolves.
- Build scalable enablement assets: videos, decks, learning modules, AI‑driven resources.
Partner across the company
- Collaborate with the People Team, Revenue Enablement Team, leaders, etc.
- Translate technical topics into engaging learning experiences.
- Work with managers to help them onboard their teams effectively.
- Coach and build role‑specific onboarding tracks with managers.
Who You Are (Requirements)
- Program builder mentality – love building systems, frameworks, and programs from scratch; highly organized, able to prioritize and manage complex projects; strategic thinker with understanding of employee lifecycle interdependencies.
- French L&D regulatory fluency – working knowledge of the Plan de développement des compétences, OPCO funding mechanisms, and CPF obligations; able to navigate compliance without bureaucratic drag.
- Hospitality mindset – deeply care about the experience of new hires; create thoughtful, human moments; understand culture change and change management.
- Great communicator & storyteller – strong presentation skills; comfortable facilitating sessions and presenting to groups at all levels.
- Builder with strong taste & passion for AI – challenge the status quo, experiment with new approaches, excited about using AI to reinvent learning and onboarding; comfortable with a variety of learning tech/tooling and AI.
- Languages – fluent in French and English.
