About Duhn Therapeutics
Duhn Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company headquartered in Dijon, France, built on more than 25 years of pioneering research in innate immunology and lipid-based immunomodulation. We are developing DHN198.
As we advance DHN198, a first-in-class Innate Immune Switcher, into Phase 1b/2a clinical trial, we are building our translational and biomarker team. We are looking for an R&D Project Manager to join our experienced team. This position is expected to evolve into a senior scientific leadership role as the programme matures.
Responsibilities
R&D Strategy and Planning
- Design and implement innovative scientific solutions aligned with the DHN198 development strategy and broader business objectives.
- Contribute to the strategic evolution of the research programme, including translational studies and clinical biomarker strategy.
- Maintain active scientific monitoring to stay current with advances in cancer biology, tumour immunology, and immuno-oncology.
Project Management
- Develop detailed project plans covering objectives, timelines, and resource allocation across concurrent workstreams.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and implement timely corrective actions.
- Manage allocated budgets and ensure efficient use of resources in line with programme priorities.
Design and Execution of Experiments
- Propose and refine experimental designs to support the non-clinical and translational investigation of DHN198, with a focus on innate immune reprogramming, biomarker validation, and tumour microenvironment characterisation.
- Carry out in vitro and in vivo experiments in coordination with the senior scientific team and management.
- Coordinate and monitor studies conducted by external partners, CROs, and academic collaborators.
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the scientific team.
Reporting and Documentation
- Ensure rigorous collection, processing, and integrity of all scientific data generated in-house and by external partners.
- Prepare regular progress reports and scientific summaries for internal review and external stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations for internal meetings, scientific conferences, and the data room.
- Ensure systematic data storage, tracking, and referencing for IP protection and regulatory compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
Required
- PhD or MSc in Cancer Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, or a closely related discipline; specific knowledge of innate immunity, tumour immunology, or myeloid biology is strongly valued.
- Ability to organise, plan, and manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong scientific reporting and writing skills.
- Ability to conduct in vivo studies
- Professional-level communication in English; functional French is an advantage.
- General knowledge of the translational research process.
Valued
- Previous experience in R&D project management or a comparable scientific leadership role.
- Experience supervising coordinating CRO/academic partnerships.
- Animal experimentation diploma (or equivalent national certification) is required.
- Publication record
What We Offer
- A position at the scientific core of a first-in-class oncology programme with strong translational and clinical development momentum.
- An international, experienced, and entrepreneurial team with deep expertise in innate immunology and drug development.
- Direct exposure to clinical trial design, regulatory strategy, and biomarker science in an early-stage company environment.
- Opportunity to grow into a senior scientific leadership role as the programme advances.
