About the role
Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Online Course Developer & Instructor to design, develop, and deliver engaging educational content for a global audience. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for creating high-quality online courses, from conceptualization and curriculum design to content creation and instructional delivery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong subject matter expertise in their field, and a proven ability to translate complex topics into accessible and engaging learning experiences. Responsibilities include developing learning objectives, designing course structures, creating multimedia content (videos, presentations, interactive exercises), and facilitating online discussions and assessments. You will also be responsible for evaluating student progress, providing feedback, and ensuring the effectiveness of the learning programs. The ability to use various e-learning platforms and tools is essential. We are looking for an innovative educator who can stay current with e-learning trends and technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our online educational offerings. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills, as well as a strong commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop comprehensive online courses based on specified learning objectives. Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including video lectures, presentations, readings, and quizzes. Utilize various e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS). Facilitate online discussions, provide feedback, and grade assignments. Evaluate the effectiveness of courses and make necessary revisions. Stay current with advancements in instructional design and educational technology. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance. Provide support and guidance to online learners. Manage course timelines and project deliverables effectively. Contribute to the development of new educational programs and initiatives. Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Education, Instructional Design, or a relevant subject matter field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development and online instruction. Proven experience with e-learning platforms and learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard). Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning theories. Experience creating multimedia content (video editing, graphic design). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Demonstrated passion for teaching and student success. Portfolio showcasing developed online courses is highly desirable.
