Online Curriculum Developer - Education Technology

Our client is a rapidly growing EdTech company dedicated to transforming education through innovative digital learning experiences. They are seeking a creative and experienced Online Curriculum Developer to join their fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective online courses and learning materials across various subject areas. You will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to create high-quality educational content that meets the needs of diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop comprehensive online course curricula, learning objectives, and assessment strategies. Create engaging instructional content, including text, multimedia elements, interactive activities, and assessments. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness. Translate complex topics into clear, concise, and accessible learning materials for online delivery. Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools to build and deploy online courses. Incorporate instructional design principles and best practices to enhance learner engagement and retention. Review and revise existing curriculum to ensure it remains relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with educational standards. Conduct needs analyses to identify learning gaps and recommend curriculum improvements. Work within project timelines to deliver high-quality curriculum materials on schedule. Contribute to the continuous improvement of online learning experiences. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in online curriculum development and instructional design. Proficiency with learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate). Strong understanding of adult learning principles and online pedagogy. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. Experience in multimedia development or graphic design is a plus. Knowledge of specific subject matter domains is advantageous.
