Lead Business Analyst (France)

About the Role

The Lead Business Analyst (France) is the primary requirements owner for the headless commerce programme, embedded with the French client stakeholders. This role leads business requirements elicitation, functional design, and cross-layer Requirements traceability — bridging client business processes with the Adobe Commerce SaaS, BFF/APIM, and ReactJS technical teams. The France BA owns the functional scope and drives workshop facilitation, gap analysis, and UAT governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business requirements elicitation through workshops, interviews, and process walk-throughs with French client stakeholders
• Author Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), and user stories with acceptance criteria
• Perform As-Is process analysis and To-Be process design across all commerce domains (catalog, cart, checkout, order management, customer)
• Conduct gap analysis between client requirements and Adobe Commerce SaaS out-of-the-box capabilities
• Define cross-layer requirements traceability — ensuring AC SaaS API fields, BFF data contracts, and ReactJS UI requirements are aligned
• Facilitate stakeholder sign-off on functional specifications before sprint commitment
• Collaborate with the India BA on story creation, backlog refinement, and functional documentation
• Lead UAT planning, coordinate test execution with business stakeholders, and manage sign-off
• Define API payload requirements for the BFF/APIM team based on frontend and business needs
• Maintain requirements traceability matrix (RTM) and manage scope change requests

Experience & Qualifications

• 9+ years in Business Analysis
• 3+ years on eCommerce programmes (Adobe Commerce / Magento preferred)
• strong stakeholder management skills
• French language proficiency required for France-based client engagement
• Agile BA experience with JIRA / Confluence.
