Job Overview

Indotronix is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer 2 to join our team in Totowa, NJ.

Shift: 1st (Mon-Fri), 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Work Schedule: 9/80

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Active Secret Clearance Required to Start
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead research and development efforts for complex engineering projects across multidisciplinary domains
• Define technical problems, analyze requirements, and develop effective engineering solutions
• Conduct feasibility studies, testing, and validation of new and existing products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product design, integration, and improvement
• Apply advanced engineering principles to develop and optimize system performance
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Document research findings, design processes, and engineering analyses

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Expertise in electronics engineering principles and system design
• Ability to lead complex technical projects and drive innovation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in C++ programming
• Experience with embedded systems development
• Familiarity with VxWorks operating system
• Active or eligible for Secret Clearance
• Experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) is a plus
