Indotronix is seeking an :Principal Embedded Software Engineer, Maple Grove, MN

Work Schedule: 9/80 Ability to Obtain Secret Clearances Bachelor's Degree

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software design, development, testing, and integration activities
• Plan, estimate, and track project schedules, cost, and performance
• Support software verification, testing, and quality assurance activities
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including systems, safety, and architecture
• Oversee subcontracted software work when applicable
• Ensure compliance with engineering processes, standards, and audits
• Manage risks, resolve issues, and communicate project status to stakeholders
• Support milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and deliverables

Required Skills

• Strong experience in C++ embedded software development
• Knowledge of RTOS or real-time systems
• Understanding of software engineering processes and lifecycle
• Experience leading small development teams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of EVMS or project tracking tools

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CMMI, cybersecurity (RMF/ATO), and system integration
• Experience in defense, munitions, or combat systems
• Knowledge of Ethernet communications

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
