Microsoft PowerApps Solution Architect

About

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft PowerApps Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, along with deep experience in integrating Microsoft technologies and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents
• Develop custom business applications tailored to client requirements using Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps
• Automate complex business workflows and processes using Power Automate
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for business insights and analytics
• Design and deploy intelligent chatbots using Power Virtual Agents
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams, and third-party applications
• Utilize Microsoft Data verse for secure and scalable data storage and management
• Lead solution architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making
• Ensure best practices in governance, security, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies
• Extensive hands-on experience with:
  • Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps)
  • Power Automate (Flows, RPA)
  • Power BI (Reports, Dashboards, Data Modeling)
  • Power Virtual Agents
• Strong experience with Microsoft Data verse and data modeling
• Proven experience integrating Power Platform with:
  • Microsoft Azure services
  • Dynamics 365
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Third-party APIs and applications
• Experience in designing enterprise-level architecture and solution frameworks
• Strong understanding of security, governance, and compliance in Power Platform
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications in Power Platform (e.g., Solution Architect Expert)
• Experience working with government or public sector clients (preferred for NYC Agency)
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Power Platform.
