About the role
firstPRO is seeking a hands-on Senior Business Analyst to partner with business leaders across the organization to identify operational needs, optimize processes, and deliver technology solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role will support enterprise applications, contribute to ERP transformation initiatives, and align business systems with long-term organizational goals. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise, technical knowledge, and leadership experience in Microsoft-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver solutions using Dynamics 365 and related technologies.
- Support and maintain Dynamics 365, VIP, and other core business applications, ensuring performance and reliability according to established standards.
- Contribute to a 1–3 year ERP transformation strategy and support execution of application and systems roadmaps.
- Provide Tier 3 support for ERP-related issues, troubleshoot root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with operations teams, vendors, and technology partners to resolve system challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- Document enterprise applications, workflows, and infrastructure to support troubleshooting, purchasing decisions, and system optimization.
- Lead initiatives to maximize enterprise application functionality and ensure technology investments deliver measurable ROI.
- Support corporate project planning and implementation efforts, including strategic initiatives related to ERP modernization.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to ERP team members to support team growth and long-term capability.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions and contribute to technology direction and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company standards related to security, policies, procedures, and cybersecurity practices.
- Conduct code reviews and support governance activities alongside IT leadership.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users and maintain a consultative, customer-focused approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting cloud-based services in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
- 3–5 years of experience working with Microsoft-based ERP systems, including support and administration.
- 3–5 years of IT management or team leadership experience.
- Experience with ERP transformation, business process improvement, and enterprise application support.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365, ERP architecture, EDI, Office 365, Azure SQL, Azure Automation, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience with project management, problem solving, workflow optimization, and internal customer support.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships across teams and vendors.
- Background in Finance Operations (FinOps) or Manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
- Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform certifications highly desirable.
Pay
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
