Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SingleStore:
  • Data modeling (rowstore, columnstore, reference tables)
  • Sharing and distribution strategies
  • SQL performance tuning and query optimization
• Prior experience migrating from Vertica or other MPP/legacy data warehouses.
• Advanced SQL and database design expertise for analytical workloads.
• Experience with Spark (Scala/Python) for large-scale data processing.

Leadership & Communication

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or SME on complex data platform initiatives.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly.
• Experience leading teams, handling escalations, and driving delivery under tight SLAs.
