About the role
Role Overview:
We are seeking a PMO with experience in Legal Technology implementations, specifically Legal e Billing / Legal Spend Management platforms (e.g., Legal Tracker) or broader Legal Tech solutions. This role will support the implementation of a Legal Tracker solution to help monitor, manage, and optimize law firm expenses. The PMO will partner closely with Technology, Legal, Finance, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead PMO activities for the implementation of a Legal e Billing / Legal Tracker platform
- Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, and risks
- Coordinate across Legal, Technology, Finance, and external law firms/vendors
- Track budget, timelines, and implementation progress; report status to stakeholders
- Drive governance, change management, and stakeholder communication
- Support testing, cutover, and post go live stabilization activities
- Ensure compliance with legal and financial controls during implementation
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience supporting Legal e Billing solutions (e.g., Legal Tracker, SimpleLegal, CounselLink, TyMetrix) OR Legal Technology implementations
- Strong PMO / project management background in enterprise technology programs
- Experience working with Legal, Compliance, and Finance stakeholders
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage vendors and external partners effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience implementing Legal Tracker specifically
- Familiarity with legal spend management, invoice review, and law firm billing processes
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- PMP or similar project management certification
Location Preference
New York/ NJ based resource strongly preferred for closer collaboration with stakeholders
