OpenStack Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled OpenStack Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing technologies, specifically OpenStack, and a passion for automating processes and improving system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage OpenStack cloud infrastructure.
• Automate cloud deployments and operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud services.
• Contribute to capacity planning and performance tuning of the OpenStack environment.
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on OpenStack.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack components (e.g., Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
