About the role
In this role, you’ll partner closely with both clients and the sales team to help evaluate, structure, and process financing transactions for businesses across a variety of industries. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to underwriting, credit analysis, and equipment financing operations, with comprehensive training provided during your first 30 days.
What You’ll Do
- Launch and manage new client transactions within our proprietary system
- Communicate directly with customers to gather information needed for sound credit decisions
- Learn about clients’ businesses, operations, and current/future equipment needs
- Pull and review credit and business documentation, including:
- Credit bureau reports (CBR)
- PayNet reports
- Financial statements
- Secretary of State filings
- Analyze available information and prepare concise underwriting recommendations
- Help structure transactions and identify creative ways to get deals approved
- Provide ongoing updates to vendor sales reps and internal sales teams throughout the process
- Assist with documentation and operational support for new transactions
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment where everyone pitches in when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid math and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable speaking with clients via phone and email
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Prior banking, finance, or lending experience is a plus
