Operational Technology Cybersecurity Analyst

Experteer Overview As an OT Cybersecurity Analyst, you will strengthen Barry‑Wehmiller’s industrial cybersecurity posture by designing and advising on OT controls and risk mitigation. You work across engineering and legal/privacy teams to implement secure OT architectures and lead incident response. You’ll assess regulations, define security requirements, and guide cross‑functional stakeholders to protect equipment‑producing businesses. This role offers regional flexibility and a path to shape secure, compliant OT ecosystems across BW’s units.

Rémunérations / Avantages • Lead OT security incident investigations, determine root cause, close gaps, and drive remediation • Evaluate and interpret OT cybersecurity regulations and determine required compliance actions • Define security control requirements for OT/ICS designs and IIoT integrations; recommend secure configurations and network segmentation • Collaborate with internal and external counsel and GDPR teams to ensure regulatory and data privacy compliance • Provide expert advisory guidance to business units, engineering groups, and leadership • Develop, maintain, and implement OT cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and training materials • Coordinate with Digital Innovation team and IIoT/OT Cybersecurity Architect on assessments and integrations of BW’s connected IIoT platform • Document technical/compliance research and lead multiple BW machine platform teams on OT security issues in customer environments • Assess security and compliance status of BW hardware and software products; act on independent judgment for risks and strategic measures • Lead policy development, OT risk assessments, and incident response strategy; serve as trusted advisor to cross‑functional partners

Responsabilités • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial control system design, implementation or cybersecurity engineering • Degree or certification in industrial controls engineering or OT cybersecurity • Advanced understanding of OT networks, ICS components, and associated security risks • Excellent problem‑solving and attention to detail • Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose actionable solutions • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders • Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives with minimal supervision • English fluency
