About the Role

PATH is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations and Procurement Manager to oversee and manage all operational and procurement activities for its Nigeria Country Program. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of PATH’s projects and programs in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational and procurement strategies aligned with PATH’s global policies and country-specific needs.
  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and vendor management, ensuring compliance with donor and PATH regulations.
  • Oversee logistics, inventory management, and asset tracking for the country program.
  • Ensure efficient day-to-day operations, including office management, facilities, and IT support.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, providing regular financial reports and forecasts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and government authorities.
  • Provide guidance and support to program staff on operational and procurement matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Nigerian laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in operations and procurement management, preferably in the non-profit or international development sector.
  • Proven experience in managing complex procurement processes, including international procurement.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and ERP systems.
  • Experience working in Nigeria or similar developing country contexts.
  • Fluency in English.
