POSITION SUMMARY:

To that end, we are seeking a talented professional who is looking for their pathway to a career in the craft beer business. While working in our corporate office in Alexandria VA, the Operations & Business Analyst will work directly alongside senior leadership as a true operational right hand, supporting distribution sales, private events inbound sales, hospitality training, HR, accounting, and strategic projects. This isn't a passive support role. We want someone who is sharp, curious, and eager to dig in across every area of our company and, over time, evolve into an internal consulting and project management resource for the leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES BY AREA

Distribution Sales Operations:

  • Work directly with the Sales Operations Manager to assist with distributor order fulfillment, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Learn about company sales reporting and conduct analysis based on real-time data sources
  • Manage state compliance requirements including brand registrations across Aslin's 12+ distribution markets
  • Support preparation of sales decks, distributor programming materials, and account-level reporting

Hospitality Operations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound private event inquiries: manage intake, qualification, and follow-up to convert leads into confirmed bookings
  • Process private event reservations in our hospitality platform Tripleseat across all taproom locations
  • Coordinate with the General Managers of our 5 taprooms to align on client needs, logistics, and event execution
  • Support the HR Manager & Director of Hospitality with onboarding resources, hospitality standards documentation, and staff training materials
  • Track private events pipeline and report on conversion rates, revenue, and volume across locations

Business Operations & Strategy

  • Support senior leadership with strategic research, competitive analysis, and business case development
  • Assist in managing cross-functional projects: tracking timelines, stakeholder communication, and follow-through on action items
  • Prepare internal briefs, summaries, and presentations for leadership reviews and planning sessions
  • Identify process improvement opportunities across departments and help implement solutions

HR & Administrative Support

  • Work alongside the HR team to support employees throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit
  • Assist in hiring coordination: job postings, interview scheduling, and offer letter administration
  • Participate in daily, weekly and monthly accounting processes alongside HR team and senior leadership
  • Maintain accurate records across HR, compliance, and operational platforms

IMPORTANT SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in an operational, sales support, hospitality, or business coordination role preferred.
  • Experience in the food & beverage, hospitality, or CPG industry a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Suites and MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
  • Comfort with CRM and hospitality platforms (experience with Tripleseat a plus).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday, Notion, or similar).
  • Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements and adapt to new challenges.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
