Role Overview

DumpStor is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Operations & Customer Success Manager to oversee daily scheduling, dispatching, customer communication, sales support, and operational coordination from our Sterling, VA office.

This is a key leadership role responsible for helping manage daily operations while supporting customer growth and maintaining strong communication between customers, drivers, franchise support channels, and operations.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently manage multiple responsibilities while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Sales Management

  • Handle inbound customer calls, sales inquiries, and booking requests
  • Conduct outbound communication and outreach to prospective customers and business accounts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and repeat accounts
  • Support customer retention initiatives and help cultivate long-term customer relationships
  • Provide excellent customer service while resolving issues professionally and efficiently

Operations, Scheduling & Dispatch

  • Manage daily dispatching, scheduling, and routing of dumpster deliveries and pickups
  • Coordinate and manage driver schedules, communication, and daily workflow
  • Monitor daily job status, scheduling efficiency, and operational logistics
  • Serve as the primary communication point between customers, drivers, and operations teams
  • Assist in maintaining efficient operations and supporting business growth initiatives

Franchise Network & Administrative Support

  • Assist with franchise network support inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate department, vendor, or support resource
  • Help maintain communication flow between franchisees, operations teams, and support channels
  • Manage CRM systems, scheduling software, customer records, and administrative tasks
  • Support internal processes, reporting, and operational accountability initiatives

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in operations, dispatching, logistics, scheduling, customer service, inside sales, or related fields preferred
  • Comfortable managing both operational and sales-related responsibilities
  • Strong phone skills and confidence communicating with customers and prospects
  • Team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with computer systems, scheduling software, and CRM platforms preferred

Performance Expectations & KPIs

This role directly impacts customer growth, operational efficiency, and overall business performance. KPI benchmarks and performance goals will be established and reviewed regularly.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Starting base salary of $60,000+ annually
