At Röchling Industrial Lahnstein SE & Co. KG, over 300 employees work. Here, plates, round rods, and profiles are manufactured from thermoplastic plastics, and parts are produced by machining according to our customers' technical drawings. These manufactured parts are used in almost all areas of the capital goods industry.
Our IT team ensures the smooth operation from data center to cloud. For this, we are looking for an Operations Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on IT infrastructure, cloud, and IT security as soon as possible. In this role, you will ensure the stability and security of our systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and operation of servers, networks, and cloud services
- Performing updates, maintenance, and identifying optimization potential
- Optimization and expansion of the classic network infrastructure as well as increasing security
- Management of the cloud infrastructure, including cost, capacity, and security monitoring
- Implementation and monitoring of security measures, as well as analysis of incidents and vulnerabilities
- Documentation of systems and processes, support in helpdesk and participation in IT projects
Profile
- Successfully completed training as a specialist in IT system integration or comparable degree
- Several years of practical experience in system administration, ideally in network technology
- Good knowledge in IT infrastructure, cloud, monitoring, and backup
- Experience with IT security (firewall, VPN, patch and authorization management)
- Teamwork and good communication skills
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken, basic English skills
