Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in hyderabad for an Operations Head - Project Delivery. The role involves overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring operational efficiency and excellence. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end operations, allocating resources effectively, supervising teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and aligning strategies with organizational goals. The candidate will also handle operational analytics, identify areas of improvement, and lead initiatives to optimize processes and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Execution
- Lead execution of multiple projects across Fire Alarm, Fire Suppression, CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Systems, and BMS.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.
- Drive adherence to project schedules, milestones, and contractual obligations.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover processes.
- Operations & P&L Management
- Own project P&L, cost control, and margin improvement.
- Monitor project budgets, billing cycles, and cash flow.
- Optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency and profitability.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams.
- Build high-performance teams and develop leadership pipeline.
- Drive accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement culture.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary escalation point for key clients.
- Build strong relationships with PMC, Consultants (e.g., CBRE, JLL), and End Clients.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Planning & Strategy
- Define and implement project execution strategies for fast-track fit-out projects.
- Drive standardization of processes, SOPs, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Sales & Design teams for seamless project transitions.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and statutory regulations.
- Drive quality assurance across all project stages.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Management
- Manage vendors, subcontractors, and OEM coordination.
- Ensure timely procurement and material availability.
- Evaluate vendor performance and cost efficiency.
Key Systems Expertise Required
- Fire Safety Systems: Fire Alarm, PA Systems, Fire Suppression
- Electronic Security: CCTV , VMS (Genetec, Milestone), Access Control (Genetec, Lenel, HID, C-Cure)
- BMS: HVAC Controls, IBMS Platforms, Integration Systems
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Operations Management, ensuring seamless project execution and delivery
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate processes, make data-driven decisions, and drive improvements
- Team Management and leadership experience to guide, support, and organize teams effectively
- Excellent Communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders and clear reporting
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial planning within project constraints
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and improve operational performance
- Experience in the fire safety, electronic security, or BMS sector is a strong advantage
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering
- 15–20 years of experience in ELV / Fire Safety / BMS project delivery
- Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, commercial acumen, and decision-making skills
- Experience in handling corporate fit-out / commercial real estate projects
