The Role
Launch and scale a new Electrical Testing Group location. Own P&L, build a technical team, establish client relationships, and implement proven systems in a new market.
This is a rare chance to lead a business from startup to maturity.
What You'll Do
Lead Operations
- Manage scheduling, resource planning, quality, safety, and project delivery for protective relaying, SCADA, and IEC 61850 commissioning.
Build the Business
- Recruit and develop engineers and technicians.
- Establish vendor partnerships and client relationships.
- Create sustainable processes.
Drive Accountability
- Align team toward shared goals.
- Resolve issues.
- Own scorecard and KPIs under EOS framework.
MUST-HAVES
- 7+ years in power systems testing, commissioning, or utility operations
- Strong knowledge of protective relaying, automation, and SCADA systems
- Proven leadership managing people, budgets, and projects
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building from scratch
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
Compensation
$160,000–$190,000 + discretionary bonus
14% ESOP contribution to retirement annually. 100% employee-owned.
