Job Summary
The Performance Instrumentation Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s performance measurement framework. This role ensures that all operational activities are measurable, accountable, and aligned with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The officer will drive real-time performance tracking, support data-driven decision-making, and continuously improve operational efficiency across all departments and divisions.
Responsibilities
• Engage all Divisions and Departments to define, validate, and secure sign-off on KPIs and SLAs company-wide
• Ensure alignment of KPIs with organizational goals and strategic objectives
• Maintain a centralized repository of all approved KPIs and SLAs
• Document updates and communicate changes to stakeholders in real time
• Monitor and evaluate performance at Departmental level, Divisional level, Company-wide level
• Track SLA compliance, turnaround time, service quality, and operational efficiency
• Identify performance trends, gaps, and anomalies
• Report performance drops, stagnation, or risks proactively
• Drive implementation of performance measurement frameworks across all business units
• Establish structured KPI tracking systems for SLA compliance, Turnaround time, Service delivery quality, Operational efficiency.
• Deploy real-time dashboards and monitoring tools for visibility
• Ensure tracking at both team and individual performance levels
• Lead the development and deployment of automation tools to: Capture operational timestamps, Aggregate and analyze performance data
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure system scalability and functionality
• Ensure data integrity, accessibility, and usability across platforms
• Champion digital transformation in performance tracking and reporting
• Analyze departmental and company-wide performance reports (periodic and on-demand)
• Compare performance outcomes against defined targets and benchmarks
• Provide actionable insights and recommend data-driven solutions
• Support leadership with decision-enabling analytics
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive OperationalPerformance Manual, covering: Company-wide processes, KPIs and metrics, SLAs and service mapping
• Ensure periodic review and stakeholder sign-off of all updates
• Produce clear, concise, and executive-level performance reports
• Communicate findings and recommendations to all relevant stakeholders
• Recommend improvements to existing operational practices
• Design corrective actions to address inefficiencies
• Support the development of a culture of performance accountability
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business units
Qualifications/Experience
• 2-5 years of experience in performance management, business analysis, or operations
• Minimum of 2 years of varied experience in Performance Management, Instrumentation and Data Analytics
• Sound understanding of PM Measurement and Reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace / Mac Office Suite, SQL and data querying tools
• Experience with dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage
• Solid project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
