Role Description
As an Operations UX & Field Tech Support Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations related to user experience and field technical support activities. Tasks include supporting operational logistics, monitoring and improving user interactions with our systems, conducting data analysis to identify improvements, and collaborating with team members on technology solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to assess data and identify performance improvement opportunities
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively
- Knowledge in Sales and Operations Management to assist in supporting business and operational goals
- Experience with Project Management principles and techniques to contribute to project execution and coordination
- Basic familiarity with digital technologies and energy sector operations is an asset
- Adaptability to dynamic work environments and a self-driven attitude to learn
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Operations, or a related field
We're seeking a UI/UX Design Intern to optimize our tablet interface for field workers, ensuring seamless interaction in high-pressure environments. You'll collaborate with the Technology & Operations team to enhance usability under real-world challenges like outdoor conditions and gloved use.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to identify pain points in current tablet interfaces for field operations.
- Design accessible, intuitive prototypes using Figma, iterating based on feedback from high-pressure scenarios.
- Collaborate via Miro for brainstorming, Hotjar for heatmaps and session recordings, and Jira/Monday.com for task tracking.
- Produce technical documentation, including design specs and user guides, to support implementation.
- Test designs for accessibility, focusing on outdoor visibility, gloved navigation, and responsive performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in accessibility design, especially for outdoor/gloved use cases.
- Proven user research skills (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing).
- Excellent technical writing for design documentation and handover.
- Familiarity with Figma, Miro, Hotjar, and Jira/Monday.com.
- Passion for optimizing interfaces in demanding, real-world environments.
Education
- BSc or HND in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
