Role

At Booz Allen Hamilton we are looking for a Architect engineer!

Responsibilities

• Design secure cloud services to support mission-critical operations
• Develop cloud-based solutions to address complex challenges in homeland security
• Conduct research on the existing environment to recommend appropriate tools and solutions
• Guide the team in overcoming the clients significant challenges with cloud technology
• Collaborate with team members and clients to inform strategy and design during the cloud migration process
• Ensure that established standards are adhered to throughout the architectural process

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in implementing enterprise IT systems, applications, and infrastructure
• More than 8 years of experience in architecting and establishing highly available, scalable, and resilient enterprise cloud environments
• At least 8 years of experience in leading architecture, platform engineering, and development teams on enterprise cloud engagements across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platforms
• Proficient in applying structured evaluation and prototyping techniques to emerging technologies to create a cloud platform roadmap
• Capable of collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders to devise and execute cloud strategies
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• High School diploma or GED
