New Value Solutions (NVS), a national IT consulting firm, is seeking an Oracle PeopleSoft HCM Technical Analyst & Consultant. This role will work closely with internal IT and HR/Payroll teams to support, enhance, and maintain Oracle PeopleSoft HCM systems and related initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Oracle PeopleSoft HCM modules to meet business requirements.
  • Customize and enhance PeopleSoft applications including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits Administration, and Employee Self-Service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Perform system configuration, upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM applications.
  • Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize solutions using PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, SQL, and other PeopleSoft tools.
  • Support integration between PeopleSoft HCM and third-party systems using Integration Broker and other technologies.
  • Participate in system testing, quality assurance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist end users as needed.
  • Contribute to system improvements by recommending best practices and enhancements.
  • Stay current with Oracle PeopleSoft updates, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM.
  • Strong experience with PeopleSoft modules including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits Administration, and Self-Service.
  • Proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, and SQL.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) for applying updates and maintenance packs.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleTools, Application Designer, and BI Publisher reporting.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems.
  • Experience with data migration, system upgrades, and performance optimization.
  • Solid understanding of HCM business processes including payroll and benefits administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
