Social Media Growth Coordinator

RainBarrel.ca is looking for a highly organized and creative Social Media Growth Coordinator to help expand our online presence while supporting community fundraising partners.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how to grow engaged audiences (not just followers) and can also manage the operational side of campaigns with precision and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

Social Media Growth & Engagement

• Manage and grow accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Develop content that drives engagement, shares, and community interaction
• Monitor trends and adapt content to increase visibility
• Respond to comments and messages in a timely, brand-aligned manner
• Track performance and continuously improve content strategy

Partner Support (Fundraising Campaigns)

• Guide partner organizations on how to promote their campaigns effectively on social media
• Share best practices, content ideas, and simple promotional strategies
• Support partners in maximizing reach and participation within their communities

Email & Campaign Coordination

• Respond to submitted forms using standardized email templates (with minor personalization)
• Update and manage Mailchimp campaigns for multiple partner groups
• Ensure campaign details are accurate and aligned with each organization

Who You Are

• Experienced in social media management and organic growth
• Strong understanding of engagement strategies (not just posting)
• Comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Confident communicator (written and verbal)
• Familiar with Mailchimp, Google Sheets, and basic CRM-style workflows
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
