OSP Engineering Manager – Fiber (RUS Projects)

We’re looking for an experienced OSP Engineering Manager to lead and grow a high-performing team delivering 100% fiber builds across a diverse footprint of rural and metropolitan areas.

This is a hands-on leadership role—you’ll oversee OSP engineering from network to customer premise, while managing internal teams, external engineering partners, and construction contractors. If you’re comfortable balancing strategy with execution and enjoy mentoring teams, this could be a strong fit.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and develop a team of 8–10 (including 2 direct-report engineers)
• Oversee OSP design, permitting, and construction (aerial & buried)
• Manage external engineering firms and construction contractors
• Drive projects aligned with RUS standards and unit-based builds
• Support service orders, new developments, and road move coordination
• Mentor both engineers and non-engineering team members

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with fiber OSP engineering (RUS familiarity preferred)
• Strong background in GIS systems
• Engineering degree (Civil preferred, others considered)
• Leadership experience with a hands-on approach

• Salary: $110K–$150K (flexible, up to $200K for the right candidate)
