Responsibilities

• Setup, management, and rule configuration of firewalls in industrial networks as well as analysis and troubleshooting of faults
• Configuration and troubleshooting of IoT gateways including setup of secure communication channels and resolution of connection and security issues
• Implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of secure remote access infrastructures as well as troubleshooting of remote maintenance connections
• Consulting on OT security standards, support during audits and compliance topics, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Creation of network plans including definition of address ranges, routes, and firewall rules

Requirements

• Completed studies or vocational training in IT, network technology, or automation technology
• Experience in configuring firewalls and network components
• Knowledge of IoT protocols and industrial communication standards, e.g., OPC UA and MQTT
• Understanding of OT security policies and standards, e.g., IEC 62443, CRA, Data Act, and Machinery Regulation
• Confident handling of remote maintenance solutions such as OpenVPN and IPsec
• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and independent working style
• Fluent German and very good English skills
