About
MCCA is seeking a skilled and motivated, full-time Program Manager to oversee our Outpatient Services program in Torrington, Connecticut. This role is ideal for an experienced clinical leader who excels at managing daily operations, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring high-quality service delivery in a mission-driven environment. Extensive experience in addiction or substance use treatment is required, with a strong preference for candidates with outpatient program experience.
As Program Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the outpatient program, supporting staff performance, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring that services align with MCCA’s mission, vision, and values. This position works collaboratively with Clinical leadership and Senior leadership to promote operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise clinical and administrative staff.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery and a positive team culture.
- Participate in clinical oversight activities, including review of treatment plans and documentation, in coordination with the Outpatient Clinical Director.
Operational Oversight
- Manage daily program operations, including client flow, service delivery, and staffing coverage.
- Develop and maintain staff schedules and ensure appropriate coverage during absences.
- Identify and address operational challenges to ensure efficient and client-centered services.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure program compliance with all accreditation, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Support audits, reviews, and reporting requirements as needed.
- Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement initiatives.
Budget & Resource Coordination
- Assist in the development and monitoring of the program’s budget in collaboration with the CFO and senior leadership.
- Monitor resource utilization to support fiscally responsible program operations.
Community & Internal Collaboration
- Maintain positive working relationships with referral sources, payers, contractors, and community partners.
- Collaborate with senior managers and internal stakeholders to support program goals and organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Licensure
- Active Connecticut licensure through the Department of Public Health (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
Experience
- Experience in addiction or substance use treatment required.
- Strong preference for experience in outpatient treatment settings and prior supervisory or program management experience.
