About the role
Overview
As the Outside Sales Account Executive with DDL Business Systems, you will be accountable for selling a full line of office solutions in our local market.
What you'll do
- Drive sales revenue by managing a defined territory via cold calling, self-generated leads & existing clients.
- Present & sell our full line of office solutions including high-speed digital multi-functional printers, document software & managed print services (MPS).
- Cross-sell our expanded services such as: VOIP Phone System, IT Services and Broadband Services including Fiber Connections.
- Work with clients to understand and identify objectives and needs while aligning products and services where business opportunities exist.
- Develop relationships with clients and deliver high levels of client care.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations, coordinating the terms of the sale and client training. Act as an ambassador for DDL.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the industry and trends influencing the marketplace.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required, bachelors preferred; business, marketing or related discipline is a plus
- One (1) or more years of experience working in a business-to-business sales environment
- Ability to travel as required
- Valid Driver's License

Our people bring innovation, real-world solutions for our client's print management needs; we help cut costs, secure documents and reduce the environmental footprint. We are a growing organization that has a need for individuals who are driven to contribute their professional best.
First year potential compensation is $75,000 which includes a base, targeted at $40K to $45K, plus commission/additional earning. 2nd year expected to reach 6-figure income.
