The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative/Account Executive for our Richmond, Virginia and surrounding markets. This is a chance to get out of the office and use your relationship skills to build a solid income and get your hands dirty at the same time. Responsibilities
- Generate new business with new and existing customers
- Ensure technical requirements for customers are met
- Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customers' concerns
- Routinely interact face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and build confidence
- Work with local customers to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
- Provide technical support as required
- Set strategic planning to achieve product and sales goals
- Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support sales
- Completing reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls and leads
- Ability to go underground and receive MSHA certification required
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Team oriented, outgoing, positive personality with superior problem-solving skills
- Travel to customers
- Work experience in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Excel
- Ability to multitask and manage time well
- Make quick sound decisions and “think out of the box” mentality
- Driver’s License, with a good driving record, and dependable transportation
- Business, Technical, or related degree a plus
Compensation
The salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 is estimated overall total earnings that includes a base salary and uncapped commission earned on all revenue generated, with no minimum threshold, draw, or hurdle to clear first.
In addition, this position includes a Vehicle Allowance, Fuel, and business-related expenses paid.
