About

Well-established engineering consultancy specializing in electrical power systems seeks to employ a Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineer. Based in Bellville

Responsibilities

Design and analysis of overhead power lines using PLS-CADD
Perform line profiling, tower spotting, and loading analysis
Coordinate with structural and geotechnical inputs for foundation design
Prepare design reports, drawings, and technical documentation
Ensure compliance with relevant Eskom/SANS/international standards
Liaise with internal teams and clients on design deliverables

Qualifications

B. Sc/ B. Eng in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in overhead line design
Proven working experience in PLS-CADD (non-negotiable)
Experience with PLS-TOWER or related software advantageous
Experience in renewable energy or large-scale transmission projects
Exposure to transmission/distribution line design standards and practices
