About the role
About
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, solution-driven business for a highly capable Executive Assistant to the General Manager. This is a high-trust, detail-critical role partnering closely with senior leadership and taking ownership of governance, compliance, and core operational administration.
The Role
- Hours: 08:00 – 16:30
- Contract: Initial 6-month contract with a view to permanent
Key Responsibilities
Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Maintain governance, risk, and compliance registers, policies, documentation, and renewal schedules.
People Administration
- Support onboarding, employment contracts, HR coordination, and payroll queries (payroll outsourced).
Operations & Vendors
- Liaise with external service providers (including IT), manage health & safety files, insurance documentation, and annual renewals.
Executive Support
- Diary management, meeting coordination, reminders, follow-ups, travel bookings, and general executive administration.
Finance Administration
- Credit card reconciliations, document control, and administrative support to finance processes.
Fleet & Asset Administration
- Track warranties, renewals, and documentation for vehicles and other company assets.
Data & Reporting
- Heavy Excel usage — building, maintaining, and owning trackers, registers, and management reports.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's Degree – non-negotiable
- Advanced Excel skills with strong overall IT literacy
- Proven experience in a high-trust EA / senior admin / operations support role
- Exceptional attention to detail; logical, organised, and dependable
- Comfortable handling confidential information (NDA required)
- Experience in structured, operational environments (technical or engineering exposure advantageous)
Assessments
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete assessments, including an Excel competency assessment.
