Packaging Designer – Home & Pet Products

We are looking for a highly skilled and fast-moving Packaging Designer to join our team and lead packaging development across our home product categories. This role is hands-on and execution-focused — you will be responsible for creating packaging from concept through production while working directly with overseas factories to ensure accuracy, speed, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Design And Develop Packaging For

• Boxes (retail + PDQ/display) • Hang tags • Belly bands • Inserts and header cards • Create dielines from scratch (no templates) • Understand product dimensions, folding structures, and material constraints • Ensure packaging is production-ready before factory sampling • Work directly with overseas factories (primarily China) • Communicate daily to resolve dieline and packaging issues • Review factory files, mockups, and pre-production samples • Ensure accuracy before samples are shipped to the U.S. • Prepare print-ready files for mass production • Color accuracy (CMYK/Pantone) • Bleeds, trims, safety margins • Material callouts and finishes (matte, gloss, foil, emboss, etc.) • Manage multiple SKUs simultaneously with fast turnaround times • Collaborate with internal teams on branding, product development, and timelines
