PACKAGING MANAGER - GRAIN MILLING INDUSTRY

About

Our client in the agricultural milling industry is seeking an experienced Packaging Manager to lead their packaging operations in Bloemfontein!

Qualifications

• 5 YEARS SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE (ESSENTIAL)
• 5 YEARS EXTENSIVE PACKAGING EXPERIENCE IN GRAIN MILLING INDUSTRY (ESSENTIAL)
• KNOWLEDGE OF AUTOMATED PACKAGING MACHINES & ROBOTICS IN GRAIN MILLING (ESSENTIAL)
• National Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF 4)
• Relevant qualification in Packaging/Supply Chain Management
• Valid driver''s license and own transport
• Good computer skills

Experience

• 5 years supervisory experience
• 5 years of extensive packaging experience in the grain milling industry
• Knowledge of operating and fault-finding on automated packaging machines and robotics in grain milling

Key Responsibilities

• Managing ISO 22000 and HACCP standards
• Preventive maintenance planning (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)
• Daily, weekly, and monthly production and logistics planning
• Manage the packaging process through optimization of employees and machines
• Ensure packaging standards meet company and customer satisfaction levels
• Inventory management of final product and packaging materials
• Obtain packaging targets
