SAIC is seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst/Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. This part-time role allows you to work primarily remotely while providing essential support to FDA CTP SCS/VM Technical Engineers. At SAIC, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch Information Technology (IT) support that aids in scientific tasks essential for CTP's scientific and regulatory missions.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with FDA CTP Engineers to effectively coordinate meetings and manage key activities such as documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and newly devised processes within the center. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in redesigning the CTP SCS SharePoint site.
This is a part-time remote position with occasional on-site visits.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with engineers to understand their workflow.
- Attend virtual meetings to support and gain insights into engineering activities.
- Create templates for process flows and document associated activities.
- Update and maintain content on the program's SharePoint site.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific, business, or technical field.
- Strong background in a technical or scientific area.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Meticulous attention to detail is a must.
- Experience interacting with a highly technical audience, including scientists, researchers, and physicians.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Must possess an active FDA Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain it before starting.
- Must be a US citizen.
Salary
Target salary range: Up to $40,000. This estimate represents the typical salary range for the position based on experience and other factors.
