About Us

Umbrella Health is a multispecialty medical and wellness center in Manhattan (NYC). We offer Primary care, Cardiology and Vascular specialist, Neurology, Sleep Medicine, Interventional pain management, GLP-1 weight loss program, and are launching wellness and longevity medicine. Physician-owned, looking to grow patient volume through serious, HIPAA-compliant digital marketing.

What We Need

A dedicated marketing manager who specializes in US medical practices. You’ll own end-to-end digital marketing, working directly with our physician CEO.

Required

  • 3+ years managing digital marketing for US medical, dental, or healthcare practices
  • Portfolio of 3+ US medical practice clients (URLs required)
  • HIPAA compliance knowledge (BAAs, Meta Pixel, PHI handling, compliant analytics)
  • Experience optimizing Zocdoc, Healthgrades, Vitals, WebMD provider profiles
  • Understanding of E-E-A-T and YMYL standards for medical SEO
  • Fluent English and availability for weekly video calls (partial US Eastern overlap)

Nice to have

  • Multispecialty or multi-location practice experience
  • NYC healthcare market familiarity
  • Athena Health EMR experience
  • Google Ads and Local Services Ads (LSA) for healthcare

Scope of Work

SEO & Local SEO: Technical audit, medical schema markup, citation building (Healthgrades, Vitals, RateMDs, WebMD), NPI verification, insurance directory audit, neighborhood landing pages, Google Business Profile management (weekly posts, Q&A, review responses within 48 hours), local link building.

Content: 2–4 blog posts/month tied to service lines, service-line landing pages, physician bio pages with author schema, FAQ content with schema.

Reviews & Reputation: Automated post-visit review requests across Google, Zocdoc, Healthgrades, Yelp. Response workflow within 48 hours.

Social Media: 12–15 strategic posts/month, physician-led educational content, service-line Reels.

Email: Monthly newsletter, welcome automation, HIPAA-compliant platform with BAA.

Paid Ads (specify if offered): Google Ads, LSA, Meta Ads with HIPAA-compliant tracking. Okay if not offered — please state in proposal.

Reporting: Monthly dashboard (organic traffic, top 20 keyword rankings, GMB performance, reviews, new patient inquiries, conversion rate). Quarterly strategy reviews.

Required in Your Proposal

Proposals missing these will be rejected:

  1. URLs of 3 US medical practices you currently or recently managed
  2. How would you set up conversion tracking on our booking page without violating HIPAA?
  3. Have you personally optimized Zocdoc/Healthgrades profiles? Specific results?
  4. Solo freelancer, small agency, or larger team?
  5. Time zone and overlap with US Eastern business hours
  6. Do you offer paid ads management? At what additional cost?
  7. Link to medical content you’ve written or overseen
  8. Your pricing — hourly or monthly flat rate

Process

Top 5 will be interviewed via 30-minute video call. Top 2 will be commissioned for a paid 1-hour strategy sample ($75) before final selection. Hire starts with a 30-day paid trial.

Budget

Hourly $15–$40 depending on experience, ~20–25 hrs/week (roughly $1,200–$2,000/month).

Start Date

Within 2 weeks of hiring.
