About the role

About Us

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to support our teams in recruiting talent for our industrial and commercial sites (factories, distribution centers, and retail locations).

Your Role

In collaboration with the HR team and managers, you will help attract and select candidates for a wide variety of positions (hourly and some salaried roles). You will play a key role in the candidate experience and discover the entire recruitment cycle.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with managers and HR partners to understand hiring needs.
  • Participate in candidate sourcing using various channels (Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards).
  • Screen applications and participate in interviews.
  • Contribute to building diverse and inclusive talent pools.
  • Ensure positive and professional communication with candidates throughout the process.
  • Act as an ambassador for Saint-Gobain Canada and our purpose: "making the world a common home".
  • Support labor market analysis to better align recruitment needs with market realities.
  • Support the offer process and follow up with new hires to gather feedback.
  • Participate in special projects or recruitment tool improvements.

Why this role is a great opportunity?

  • Hands-on experience in talent acquisition
  • Collaborative and training environment
  • Exposure to different types of positions and industries
  • Development of key HR and communication skills
  • Perfect for building your career after your studies

What we're looking for

We believe in potential as much as experience. Here is the ideal profile to succeed in this role:

  • Ongoing or completed education (bachelor's degree or other relevant training), or any equivalent combination of studies and experience.
  • Interest or experience in recruitment, networking, or human relations, with a desire to attract candidates to apply.
  • Comfortable with digital tools and social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed) and interested in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Curious about recruitment data and indicators, with the ability to observe trends and adjust approaches as needed.
  • Service-oriented and collaborative individual, known for organizational skills, autonomy, and adaptability.
  • Creative and innovative spirit, enjoys proposing new ideas to improve recruitment methods.
  • Results-oriented approach and ability to work with multiple partners (HR, managers).
  • Strong interest in talent sourcing and career paths.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with good teamwork.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Interest in best practices and regulations related to recruitment in Canada (training or support will be provided).

Assets (not mandatory)

Do you tick some of these boxes? It's a bonus, not a prerequisite:

  • Interest or experience in recruiting for manufacturing, industrial, or engineering positions.
  • Experience (academic, internship, or employment) in candidate sourcing or internal recruitment.
  • Good time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Interest in project management or continuous improvement initiatives.

Important message for students

If you don't have everything... but you are motivated, curious, and ready to learn, we want to meet you!
