About the Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner (12-month contract) based in Montreal. You will be responsible for the recruitment process from the moment a role is approved until the new “Lightspeeder” has started, ensuring an excellent candidate experience while being a strategic partner to the Sales, Operations, and Product & Technology organizations in North America.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a full recruitment process from launch to offer acceptance, ensuring the highest standards and a seamless, positive experience for both internal stakeholders and the candidate.
  • You are responsible for implementing the company’s recruitment policy and managing human resources.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and coach hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong, effective business relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership.
  • Track recruitment data and derive insights from it to continuously improve our processes and strategy.
  • Champion best practices in diversity and inclusion throughout all our recruitment processes.
  • You are responsible for engaging and sourcing top talent (e.g., by attending recruitment events, consulting job boards, implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, building relationships with local schools, etc.).
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Lightspeed’s recruitment and hiring plan and objectives.

What You Bring

  • Proven end-to-end recruitment experience in non-tech corporate functions.
  • Successful experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels of the business.
  • Experience championing diversity of thought and coaching others on the value it brings.
  • Proven ability to source, sell, and close candidates.
  • Ability to work in an international and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills. As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.
