About the Role
Red River is looking for a Partner Marketing Specialist to play a key role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of Red River’s co-marketing campaigns, platforms and processes. The position implements, manages and reports on marketing activities and funding while supporting overall marketing processes and tools.
The Partner Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and works internally with the marketing, sales, business development, engineering and partner strategy teams and externally with Red River’s partner community. The right candidate will have strong organization and collaboration skills and familiarity with web-based platforms and tools.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and nurture positive and productive relationships with Red River’s partners.
- Collaborate with Red River’s partner strategy organization, sales and engineering teams partner marketing programs.
- Track partner marketing programs throughout their lifecycle: Plan Approval, Program Implementation, Proof of Performance and Payment.
- Manage the completion of marketing activities including emails, appointment setting, content syndication, sponsorships, events, tradeshows, ebooks, online advertising, social media, etc.
- Collect campaign proof of performance and provide guidelines and timelines for partner marketing requirements
- Review and edit campaign deliverables to ensure compliance with partner branding and funding guidelines
- Work with sales and accounting to forecast and report on MDF.
- Log and track partner payments and reconcile with accounting
- Attend briefings on partner programs and guidelines
- Manage sponsorships for large company meetings including partner registration, sponsorship deliverables, partner Q & A and payments
- Support and attend partner events and sponsorships.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Reseller, distributor or OEM marketing and channel experience preferred
- Experience in Microsoft Office products and Web-based project management tools
- Advanced understanding of Excel
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and responsive
- Excellent written and verbal communications
