About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts and accessories
- Provide accurate quotations and process sales orders efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of parts and inventory
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers
- Handle customer queries, returns, and complaints professionally
- Ensure stock availability and liaise with the warehouse or procurement team when needed
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall branch performance
- Keep the sales area clean, organized, and well-presented
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy (experience with parts systems will be advantageous)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
