About the role

JOB PROFILE

The position is available immediately or by agreement, based in Neuchâtel, with the possibility of remote work.

Within the team, this position includes the following activities:

  • Autonomous management of a client portfolio or assistance in monitoring the steps related to the filing and granting of patents, in collaboration with the patent engineer responsible for the client.
  • Recording of specific activities by client, calculation of fees, issuance and sending of invoices to clients.
  • Filing and monitoring of patents in Switzerland, in Europe, and internationally.
  • Management of documents and exchanges with clients, with various patent offices, and with a network of correspondents in 65 countries.
  • Advising clients on cost and procedural matters.
  • Other tasks assigned by the manager or necessary for the smooth running of the company's business.

PROFILE

  • You already have work experience in a patent law firm, in an intellectual property management department, or in a law firm.
  • You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee or an equivalent diploma.
  • You are comfortable with IT tools.
  • Your written and spoken French is perfect, you can read and write without difficulty in English, and you also have at least passive knowledge of German.
  • Thanks to your ability to work simultaneously on several projects and to organize your time effectively, you strictly respect deadlines despite often severe time constraints.
  • Your team spirit drives you to participate in projects to improve the company's efficiency and processes.
  • Your integrity, honesty, and loyalty are beyond reproach, and you preferably intend to establish a long-term collaboration with us.
