Express Employment Professionals Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a part time payroll accountant for a 3 to 4 day a week schedule. Our client is a College located in Northwest Philadelphia.

The Payroll Accountant plays a key role in upholding the College’s financial accuracy and compliance. This part-time, on-site position offers flexible scheduling and is expected to transition to a full-time role in Fall 2026, when additional accounting-related responsibilities will be added.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including pay rates, benefits, tax exemptions, overtime, leave, and personal information.
  • Create and manage ADP profiles for new hires; process hire and change paperwork.
  • Generate and analyze payroll and deduction reports, including benefits, garnishments, and retirement contributions.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of payroll processing experience in a complex payroll environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.

Compensation

Pay rate - $25 per hour
