About the role

Job responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development

  • Develop and manage annual/long-term Make up product portfolio strategies based on market trends, competitor analysis, consumer/customer/professional insights leveraging, and brand strategy.
  • Suggest make up development and colours (face/lip) closely working with central & region supported Marketing manager.
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities for existing product improvement and new product launches, working with strategic thinking.
  • Base on the marketing calendar and analysis of the Korean Market, needs, and trend, establish the market‑mix of all new products.

New products

  • Lead the entire planning process from new product forecasting, pricing, RA and many maintenance tasks on daily inventory management.
  • Prepare the promotion plan to maximise the potential sales of all new product launches.
  • After the launch of new products, analyse the sales results and the reaction from the market and feedback to region & central through Launch feedback.

Forecast

  • Accurately forecast demand for new and basic products, coordinating with relevant departments for production and inventory management.

Stock

  • Meet regularly forecast meeting with planning team to highlight and prevent problems of product arrival and availability, out of stock position, production problems in order to improve the stock control.
  • Inform the Marketing and Sales department when necessary and recommend solutions.

Reporting

  • Weekly report to the top management and other relevant reports (new product launch result / qualitative feedback, etc) to communicate with Region & Central team.
  • Provide product dashboard to all related departments, if necessary.

Expenses

  • Establish a yearly budget by action in terms of events and campaigns, monitor these expenses to ensure that budget is adhered to and not exceeded.
  • Maintain flexibility enabling charge according to business demands to maximise budget effectiveness.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Over 7 years PM/BM experience in cosmetic industry (Makeup experience is essential)
  • Deeply interested in the cosmetic industry, makeup product and market trend
  • Strategic problem‑solving skills based on a pro‑active and flexible mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills as a team player working with diverse departments and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Korean & English communication.
  • Other skills: Proficient with Excel & PPT.
  • Korean speaking.
