This role is responsible for attracting strong talent, improving the candidate and employee experience, and helping the organization stay aligned on people priorities as it scales. The position combines hands-on recruiting execution with broader people operations, making it important for someone who can balance speed, quality, and consistency. The right person will help build the systems and routines that keep the team organized, the hiring process efficient, and the people function responsive to business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for key roles, ensuring each hiring process is structured, timely, and aligned to business priorities so the company can secure the right talent faster.
  • Partner with hiring managers to translate role needs into clear scorecards, interview plans, and decision-making routines that improve hiring quality and reduce friction.
  • Build a strong candidate experience through clear communication, disciplined process management, and thoughtful coordination that protects the company’s employer brand.
  • Support core people operations, including onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and process improvements that keep the team compliant, organized, and well supported.
  • Track recruiting and people metrics, turning pipeline and workforce data into clear actions that improve planning, conversion, and hiring outcomes.
  • Help strengthen internal communication and manager guidance so people processes are easy to follow and people leaders can operate with more confidence.
  • Contribute to practical initiatives that improve retention, engagement, and team effectiveness as the organization grows.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong recruiting experience across sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management, with the ability to consistently move candidates through a high-quality hiring process.
  • Solid people operations knowledge, including onboarding, employee documentation, and basic lifecycle management, so day-to-day processes stay reliable and easy to run.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the judgment to align managers, candidates, and internal teams around clear expectations and timely decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to represent the company well externally and keep people processes clear internally.
  • Comfortable using HR and recruiting systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to keep workflows organized and decisions supported by data.
  • A structured, hands-on working style that balances detail, speed, and discretion in a growing company environment.

Additional Plus

  • Experience in digital health, healthcare, or another regulated environment, where process quality and stakeholder trust matter.
  • Exposure to scaling teams in a startup or Series A setting, where priorities shift quickly and people systems need to evolve with the business.
  • Familiarity with employer branding or talent community building, especially where hiring quality depends on improving inbound interest and candidate trust.

What You'll Bring

  • You bring proven ownership of recruiting processes and people coordination, with the judgment to keep hiring moving without sacrificing quality or candidate experience.
  • You are comfortable turning ambiguous hiring needs into clear process, structure, and follow-through that helps managers make better decisions.
  • You combine attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills, so people operations run smoothly and employees feel supported.
  • You work with discretion, reliability, and a service mindset, while staying focused on outcomes that help the organization scale well.
