Our client is seeking a data-driven and highly analytical Performance Marketing Manager to drive growth and optimize marketing spend for their brands in George, Western Cape, ZA. This role will focus on developing, executing, and analyzing paid digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including search engines, social media, and display networks, to achieve measurable business objectives such as customer acquisition, conversion rates, and ROI. You will be responsible for managing budgets, conducting A/B tests, and continuously iterating on campaign strategies to maximize performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels.
- Manage and optimize large advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve performance targets.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities.
- Design and implement A/B tests for ad copy, landing pages, targeting, and bidding strategies to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Monitor campaign performance daily, providing detailed analysis and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in performance marketing, ad technology, and platform updates.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and web developers to ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and conversion-optimized landing pages and creatives.
- Identify and test new channels and innovative approaches to reach target audiences and drive customer acquisition.
- Manage retargeting campaigns to re-engage potential customers and drive conversions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, with a strong emphasis on paid search (PPC) and paid social media.
- Proven track record of successfully managing significant advertising budgets and delivering measurable results.
- Expertise in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other major advertising platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, data analysis tools, and Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and insights.
- Experience with landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
- Excellent understanding of customer journey mapping and attribution modeling.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data and strategies clearly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms is a plus.
