Position Overview
The Performance Marketing Specialist will be responsible for leading paid media execution and customer acquisition across Ready®’s digital ecosystem. This role is responsible for driving efficient, scalable growth through paid channels including Google, Meta, retail media networks, and emerging platforms.
This is a hands-on, data-driven role ideal for a marketer who thrives on optimization, testing, and performance analysis across full-funnel paid media campaigns.
Responsibilities
Paid Media Execution & Optimization
- Own day-to-day management of paid media campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, YouTube), Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and TikTok (as applicable).
- Continuously optimize campaigns to improve ROAS, reduce CAC, and drive new customer acquisition.
- Own paid media budget allocation across all channels, including Google, Meta, retail media, and emerging platforms.
- Forecast spend and performance to hit CAC, MER, and revenue efficiency targets.
- Actively manage and reallocate budget based on performance, seasonality, and business priorities.
Attribution & Measurement Strategy
- Help define and evolve attribution framework across channels (e.g., platform-reported vs. GA4 vs. blended/MER).
- Align with Ecommerce team on source of truth for performance measurement and reporting.
- Evaluate channel performance beyond last-click attribution, incorporating incrementality and blended efficiency.
- Ensure consistent measurement methodology across all paid and retail media channels.
Retail Media Management
- Manage paid retail media campaigns across platforms such as Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, DSP), Walmart Connect, Sam’s MAP, Criteo, Instacart, Ibotta, and other retail media networks.
- Align campaign strategy with channel-specific goals (ROAS, NTB, share of voice, etc.).
- Collaborate with ecommerce, sales and category management teams to support product launches and promotions.
Analytics & Reporting
- Own paid media contribution to overall business performance, including blended CAC and MER (media efficiency ratio).
- Provide clear insights on how paid media impacts total ecommerce revenue, not just platform-level ROAS.
Agency & Vendor Coordination
- Serve as primary point of contact for paid media agencies and external platform partners.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and performance expectations.
- Lead budget planning and allocation in partnership with marketing leadership.
Testing & Growth Initiatives
- Develop and execute structured testing roadmaps (creative, audience, channel, and landing page tests).
- Identify and pilot new acquisition channels and tactics.
- Support influencer and affiliate efforts through paid amplification strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Design and Digital teams to develop and iterate on high-performing ad assets.
- Work closely with Ecommerce/Digital team to align on landing pages, promotions, and conversion goals.
- Collaborate with broader marketing team to ensure consistency across campaigns.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or digital acquisition.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
- Familiarity with retail media platforms (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Instacart, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage and optimize campaigns toward ROAS and CAC goals.
- Experience with GA4 and performance analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
